1.This doesn't suggest that any language you use with your friends can be used in academic writing. It also doesn't suggest to fall back on everyday language as an excuse for not learning more challenging words. Really, learning these difficult writing styles and becoming a smarter person is why people get an education in the first place. Though we do suggest that more laid back writting can make your writing more interesting and help people understand it better. Informal language also helps you connect with the readers on a personal level. 2a. Of Youth and Age by francis bacon uses a very formal and old style of language and writting. It sounds very different than the other texts due to the formally and descriptive language that makes readers think more deeply into the reading. His word choice is very formal and carefully selected with an intellectual tone that enlightens the reader on a deeper level.

2b. There is a stream, that like life is a mystery. One does not know what the next moment will bring, nor does the stream know who or what may trespass its peace and tranquility. the mature stream, unlike the new, has deep permanent scars left behind by a time long forgotten. While the young awaits voulnerably for what may occur in the future and make its mark forever. Like nature, we too await our destiny and take on the scars that come down stream.
